What You’ll Be Doing:
You will be our dedicated Android Developer focused on empowering our 5,000+ clients to deliver consumer-generated content in their native mobile applications, as well as developing Bazaarvoice branded mobile solutions for our product sampling initiatives. You will have a big hand in creating the first ever Bazaarvoice branded application that most of the fortune 500 retailers and brands will be using to interact with their consumers.
Who You Are:

- 3+ years of experience developing and shipping native Android mobile applications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or have equivalent experience
- Exposure to object-oriented programing, relational database technologies, RESTful API, Web UI (HTML 5), and Modern JS frameworks
- Familiarity with GitHub, continuous integration, test automation, and mobile A/B testing
- You’re excited about using Kanban / Lean software development methodologies
- You’ve contributed to the release of at least one currently active application in the app store
- You love rapid, iterative customer-centric development and working closely with product managers and designers to quickly iterate on new products and features
- You have a good eye for design and considerate of user experience
- You’ve worked on legacy systems, greenfield projects, and maybe even a rewrite
- You know how to scale from iterative, rapid prototyping to production ready software
