Job Description
Wirecutter is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our Delivery team. In this role, you will report to the Engineering Manager for Delivery.
As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you’ll work alongside our skilled DevOps engineers to realize our goals of having stable, secure, and performant systems that help our readers save money on our favorite products on Black Friday, Prime Day, and every day.
Required Skills:

Demonstrated experience in design and maintenance of cloud infrastructure for web applications

Experience with Docker, Terraform

Subject matter expertise in at least one of the following domains, including cloud engineering and security, infrastructure architecture and security, and monitoring best-practices

Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, Lambda)

Expertise in cloud architecture and security fundamentals

Hands on experience both designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure

Experience presenting technical information and plans to wide audience including peers across engineering and senior management

Demonstrated experience working with engineers across disciplines to identify the tradeoffs of different solutions and recommend ideal approach for infrastructure initiatives

Experience growing strong, healthy teams
